Mission

Liberty County
It is the objective of Liberty County Emergency Medical Services, Inc. (LCEMS) to provide a high level of emergency medical care and transportation for those that call upon its service. These services will be made available to any person(s) regardless of race, creed, religious beliefs or financial status. This organization is completely non-profit and all monies received in payment for services will be used in accordance with the Articles of Amendment to the Articles of Incorporation for LCEMS filed in the office of the Secretary of the State of Texas. LCEMS will constantly improve itself by the continuous training of its employees and the acquisitions of all necessary equipment to render the most appropriate care available. At no time will the equipment be used or allowed to be used in an unprofessional manner that may lead to further injury of the injured. Each person using any equipment of LCEMS and or his/her skills as a health care provider will assume full responsibility for his/her actions.

LCEMS employees follow a set of principles called the "Liberty County EMS Way" which is founded on the fundamental principle that our members are the foundation of this organization. This organization can be no better or stronger than its membership. Being a member of Liberty County EMS is more than just a job; it includes a commitment to other members and the citizens of Liberty County. This commitment must be backed by individual responsibility. Each member is responsible for his or her performance and is accountable for his or her own actions. Each also has responsibilities to the public and to other members. Personal respect and individual integrity are essential ingredients of a positive, unified work environment and a healthy organization.
